What Comes Next

Before I begin the next chapter in my professional journey, there are a few more growth experiences I wish to have and tools that I hope to acquire. Beginning this summer, I plan to temporarily relocate to Asheville, North Carolina in order to participate in an internship with Biltmore Estates. This will be my first experience working in the hotel industry; I am excited to have this opportunity to work with such a prestigious and successful estate.

I expect to graduate in December of 2019. During my final semester, I plan to  assess and synthesize all of the many experiences, lessons, and skills I have worked to obtain over the course of my time here at Auburn. I will also evaluate my overall performance in the different sectors of the Hospitality Industry in order to determine the particular field and business model in which I would like to begin my post-graduate career. I currently am interested in working for the lodging operations and travel/tourism divisions of hospitality management. While I believe my unique set of skills and strengths will be a valuable asset to this field, I also believe that this field will help me continue to evolve and grow as a young leader.
